Navy peacoat from the Naval Clothing Factory, used in the US Navy. This jacket is from around 1949, and judging by the gold buttons, it belonged to a chief/officer. It´s a solid and heavy coat with a wool shell. Features two side hand pockets (corduroy lined), two inner pockets and golden metal buttons with eagle motifs. The windy sea has nothing on this coat! A few stains and a hole on the left armpit on the lining. Fits a size S-M or womens L.
