50-60´s Chippewa Woolens Shirt-jacket (M)
NOK 1.499,00 kr
Shirt-jacket from American manufacturer Chippewa Woolen Mill. This mill was active from 1882 to 1962, when it was put out of business because of competitors´ use of synthetic fabrics. The Chippewa Woolen Mill purchased wool from local sheep farmers and took it from the raw source all the way to the garment stage. They produced a variety of high-quality woolen products, including a complete line of men’s work clothing such as shirts, pants, breeches, jumpers, mackinaws and vests. This shows when looking at this shirt-jacket, as the condition is pretty much prestine more than 60 years later. A real piece of history!
Chest width 58 cm
Front Length 68 cm
