Oh la la! Few things are more French than the Breton stripe jersey, and this is the original wool version from Saint James! Made in France with wool from the village of Saint-James on the Mont Saint-Michel bay. With the iconic Breton stripes used by fishermen, and also the french navy since the mid 1800s. Here white stripes on Navy. This sweater is from the 1970's and is in near perfect condition! Made in their classic slim silhouette, with buttoning on the lleft shoulder, in warm weather-resistent wool. Tres chic! Size 48, fits a size M with a flattering fit perfect for winter layering, or a size S if you want it relaxed and long.
