Made in Portugal
Our regular straight shirt, Connely. Made in a beautiful and super soft moleskin cloth woven by the renowned Italian mill Pontoglio 1883.
Moleskin, a thightly woven cotton fabric related to corduroy, originated back in medieval Europe where the fabric first was made to be used by farmers who needed clothing that was comfortable, warm, durable and wind resistant. In the nineteenth century, moleskin was used by French steel workers wearing moleskin pants and aprons to protect themselves from molten metals, and in more recent days moleskin has been used for uniforms for the West German Army. To say the least, moleskin is a hardwearing fabric. But not only that. Due to its shredded soft pile on the exterior it’s not only durable and windproof, it is also quite beautiful. Having the soft feel and appearance of its nap almost similar to felt, chamois and velour. A versatile garment perfect for all your needs during the colder autumn & winter months!

Love & Care
Caring properly for your garment is an important task in prolonging its life. Take care of your garment, and treat it with love & care, and it will last longer.
Read our Care guide for a complete run-through.
Turn inside out, and carefully follow the washing instructions attached to the garment. Wash with similar colours without any fabric softener with a gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry, and stretch inseams while damp to maintain preferred length. May shrink up to 3% depending on how many degrees. Hand wash is always recommended for minimal shrinkage and damage to the material.
Got stains on your garment? There are a few little hacks for making the most of a piece of clothing that’s damaged for good. Vinegar and baking soda are good to add to the washing machine to boost a load, or to use diluted with water as a pre-soak before putting the garment in the washer. For oil and make-up – dish soap is super effective for getting stains out of fabrics of every colour. If it is beyond fixable, stained tees and tank tops can always be used for layering underneath sweaters in the winter, stained jeans can be turned into cut-off shorts, and stained dresses can be layered with a scarf or a sweater.
