Made in France

One of Lesca’s first models, inspired by french frames from the 1920's, Heri's name is short for "heritage"

Immediately recognisable as a Lesca frame, the Heri is a minimalist model, lightweight, comfortable and very small. Made in the highest quality cellulose acetate. The small size gives a strong look, that Lesca calls the "Gatsby effect".

The bevel cut on the top of the frame is specific to a particular hand shaped manufacturing process. This is one of the oldest styles in French eyewear, but still feels as fresh as ever.

How it's made

In 1964, Joël Lesca created his first collection in a small workshop in the Secrétan quarter, in the 19th district of Paris. Over the years, a strong customer base of independent opticians and specialized outlets has been built around the world.

His sons, Mathieu and Bertrand, grew up in the assembly workshops surrounded by glasses. They were therefore, quite naturally won over by the contagious passion of their father, who sought to transmit the family know-how to them.

Through their travels, in constant search of inspiration and new pieces, they quickly realised that French glasses have a true identity and are appreciated all over the world.

Glasses from Lesca are all made in France, with premium acetate and lenses. Their high quality can be felt when you hold them, and they have a distinct French look and elegance about them.

The organic and mineral glasses Lesca Lunetier picks for their frames are 100% anti-UV / category 3, anti-glare, bringing comfort and optimal protection from the seas to the summits.
