Paraboot's Chasse rubber sole ensures all-day walking comfort, while keeping an elegant and slim profile.
Still highly relevant today, the Iberis is the woman's version of the Pacific which was first launched in the 1950's. Paraboot developed that style for monks belonging to the Order of Carthusians, whose monastery is located in the heart of the Chartreuse Mountains in the Isère region of France. Due to spending long hours on their feet while researching plants for them to use in making their famous Liqueur de Chartreuse – a highly alcoholic liqueur with medicinal properties – but also as part of their pilgrimages, the monks expressed their need for a comfortable, open shoe. The resulting sandal was Paraboot's Pacific. The Iberis is still made with the durable Goodyear-construction used for the original in the 50's.
