The unique Japan Blue Sashiko is made from a beautiful 100% cotton indigo dye narrowloom fabric woven by the renowned artisanal fabric mill, Nihon Menpu in Japan. A mid-weight fabric in a rich blue indigo colour decorated with a beautiful sashiko embroidery stitching in a clear blue colour. The newcomer Kirby, is based on our previous fit, Norman. Designed to rest close to the body for consistency of comfort and is intended for normal layering. Featuring a clean collar and a centre front closure with real Corozo nut buttons made in Portugal. It has long sleeves ending in button cuffs, a single chest pocket, a clean back with a back yoke and side tabs at the hem.
The garment features: - 7 Oz narrowloom woven at Nihon Menpu, Japan.- 100% sanforized cotton- Factory rinsed for minimal shrinkage. - Indigo dyed with sashiko stitching. - Corozo nut buttons made by Louropel in Portugal. - Stitched with high quality poly core cotton thread. - Made at Neto & Silva in Roriz Santo Tirso, Portugal. - Limited to 74 pieces made.

Machine washTurn inside out, and carefully follow the washing instructions attached to the garment. Wash with similar colours without any fabric softener. Do not tumble dry, and be sure to stretch inseams while damp to maintain preferred arm length. May shrink up to 3% depending on how many degrees. Handwash is always recommended for minimal shrinkage and damage to the material.Dry – or wet bleedSome of our garments are un-washed and un-treated and if dyed in indigo they may dry- or wet bleed. Be careful with rubbing against furniture or other clothing articles.
