West Japan Navy Nep
NOK 799,50 kr
Made in Portugal
The Japan Navy Nep is made from a beautiful nep fabric woven by the Japanese fabric mill, Maruwa. This particular fabric has a conventional twill weave construction but is especially unique due to its characteristic nep yarns that pops out of the surface of the fabric. Caused by using a technique called loom chatter. This technique is employed during the weaving process to help make the fabric more textured. In this particular case the shuttle looms are set at a low speed, making the loom literally shake while they weave. Leaving a "snowy" looking surface, that is actually broken cotton fibers caused by the loom agitating the fibers during the weaving process.

Love & Care
Turn inside out, and carefully follow the washing instructions attached to the garment. Wash with similar colours without any fabric softener. Do not tumble dry, and be sure to stretch inseams while damp to maintain preferred arm length. May shrink up to 3% depending on how many degrees. Hand wash is always recommended for minimal shrinkage and damage to the material.
Dry – or wet bleed
Some of our garments are un-washed and un-treated and if dyed in indigo they may dry- or wet bleed. Be careful with rubbing against furniture or other clothing articles.
