Woods Japan Navy Hawaii

Made in Portugal.
This unique fabric is woven by Shibaya in Japan, using a narrow dobby loom. A dobby loom weaves in a way where certain warp threads are raised, resulting in small geometrical patterns which gives the fabric a rich texture and rigid hand-feel. To make these fabrics in pre-industrial times, you needed a "dobby boy" to sit on top of the hand loom and raise the threads manually while the loom operated. This resulted in the fabric being known.

How it's made
This particular product is from our seasonal collection line. A wide collection of uncompromising garments of high quality. Available in a variety of retailers who shares the same passion for denim and other well made products.
We take a lot of pride in having our products made in Portugal and in Europe. This enables us to frequently visit our factories to ensure continuity in quality, as well as ensuring a good working environment for the people who are involved in creating all of our products.
Love & Care
Turn inside out, and carefully follow the washing instructions attached to the garment. Wash with similar colours without any fabric softener. Do not tumble dry, and be sure to stretch inseams while damp to maintain preferred arm length. May shrink up to 3% depending on how many degrees. Hand wash is always recommended for minimal shrinkage and damage to the material.
Dry – or wet bleed
Some of our garments are un-washed and un-treated and if dyed in indigo they may dry- or wet bleed. Be careful with rubbing against furniture or other clothing articles.
