The steady buzz of old machinery at work. Freshly brewed coffee and a faint hint of campfire incense fills the air. The tailor is taking notes and measures while listening to a customer’s expectations for a brand new pair of bespoke jeans, while newly packed boxes of Livids are hastily carried down the stairs to meet the postage deadlines. In the basement, young newlyweds are rushing past old vintage clothing to reach their appointment at the photographer’s studio.
This is the Livid headquarters. This is our home.
Our home is located in Trondheim, more or less in the middle of Norway. In an old 600 square meter building in the city center we run our entire operation under one roof, covering design, marketing, our jeans manufacturing facility, administration, distribution and our own brick-and-mortar shop.
The store is the first you encounter walking into our home. It spans over two floors and contains not only the full product portfolio of Livid, but also a wide range of complementary products from other brands, such as apothecary products, books, shoes and bags. In the basement you find our shoe department, as well as our vintage clothing concept, where we travel abroad to hand-pick our own selection of high grade vintage garments.
Our in-house jeans factory is the heart and core of our home. Proudly and openly placed it occupies most of the space on our first floor. The steady buzz from the old machinery serves as a constant reminder of the great craft and work behind every piece of garment in the room, and we are happy to explain the details behind the production to anyone with the time and interest to listen.
