Engineered Garments X Red Wing Heritage - Irish Setter 4603 Copper Remix Shop Moc

A special collaboration that reflects Engineered Garments' distinctive style, based on Red Wing's Shop Moc model. The Copper Remix colourway features a combination of three different leathers: Copper rough and tough pull-up leather, the famous Oro Legacy leather as well as a Copper pebble grain leather.

Storm welt construction, with contrasting yellow/brown taslan lace, finished with Red Wing's Traction Tread sole. While the mixed upper may appear uniform from a distance, up close, you can clearly see the unique textures of each leather, each developing its own distinct patina over time.

In homage to Red Wing's outdoorsy Irish Setter brand, this style features the original Irish Setter label on the main tag under the tongue, and is packed in an original Irish Setter style Red Wing shoebox.
+ Fitguide

A new pair of Red Wing Heritage Boots should fit comfortably on your foot, with enough air around your foot to easily accommodate thicker socks, and plenty of space in front of your foot to freely wiggle your toes, as all the styles of Red Wing we carry are designed with extra room up-front.

Some customers prefer to size half a size down, but they should not be sized down so much that they feel tight. Ensure that your feet have some space to move. If you have a narrow foot, you can safely size down half to a full size.

+ Care

Invest a little time to care for your leather shoes every now and again, and you will be rewarded with shoes that last longer and look great.

How often you need to treat your shoes varies greatly depending on usage, weather and the terrain you're in. But when you feel it's time for a little care, we recommend to follow these easy steps:

Clean

Light cleaning: Use warm water and soft bristle brush to remove stuck-on dirt. Then use a clean, dry cloth to wipe away any remaining excess dirt and moisture.

Deep cleaning: For heavily soiled areas, use a good leather cleaner. Wipe the cleaner away with a damp cloth and allow the leather to dry.

Cleaning salt stains: For salt stained leather, we recommend using Saphir's Winter Stain Remover. And afterwards protecting your shoes with Saphir's Super Invulner Spray to protect them from further stains.

Condition

For boots and shoes in oil tanned and rough leathers, you don't really need more than a fatty wax like mink oil, Red Wing's All Natural Leather Conditioner or Saphir's Sport Loisir. This will both nourish the leather and protect against the elements.

Apply the wax with a clean, soft cloth. Let it absorb into the leather for a while, then shine the shoe by brushing with a soft horse-hair brush or polishing with a soft cloth.

When using a new product for the first time, we recommend testing shoe creams and conditioners on an inconspicuous part of the shoe before applying it the the rest of the shoe.

Protect

Add extra protection to preserve your footwear. Saphir's Super Invulner spray waterproofs the most delicate leathers, and offers superior protection against water, snow, stains and grease.

General every-day care recommendations

A non-varnished cedar shoe tree will absorb any dampness from your shoes, keep their shape and increase their lifetime.

In snowy and slushy weather, clean your shoes with a wet cloth when you come home to avoid white salt marks to appear and drying out the leather.

If your leather-soled shoes become wet, leave them to dry on their sides to allow the water to run off more easily.

In addition, to increase the lifetime of your shoes, we recommend alternating shoes, instead of wearing the same pair several days running.
