There is no better way to help the environment than to reduce consumption, and to maximize the use and lifetime of things that are already made. A perfect fit for real quality vintage clothing.
We define vintage as clothing of high quality that has already had a previous owner. With us you can also find high-quality garments that are brand new, but for different reasons such as over-production were not sold in conventional stores. At any rate you should expect quality.
We are mainly looking for clothing before the fast-fashion era, that is prior to the 1990s. The beauty of garments made from that time is that in those days, products were actually made to last. In real vintage you will find garments of a quality that is far superior to the low quality fast fashion products that you can buy for the same price today.
Your main association with 2nd hand shops may be to force your way through packed racks before you find something of interest. At Livid, we have done the main selection for you. We only select garments that meet our standards of quality, and we do our utmost to make sure that the garments are in a presentable environment, in good shape and ready for a new owner.
You may be of the impression that vintage clothing is a specific look, and not something for you. However, the thing about fashion is that trends tend to go in circles, and garments that are fifty years old can be just as relevant today as they were then. There are also many timeless classics that never go out of style.
We don’t limit our definition of vintage to old clothing, our agenda is to collect and offer used goods of high quality. If you look closely, you can even find our very own used pairs of Livids in our stores, that are from our re-use concept SAVED.
Looking for something specific? Reach out, and lets see if we can sort you out!
